Festival Mondial de L’image Sous-Marine
For 38 years, the World Festival of Underwater Pictures has brought together artistic, photographic and cinematographic productions related to the underwater world. For five days at the end of October each year the Festival offers the general public a window on the seas and oceans of the world.
More than 100 exhibitors, almost 450 photos in competition on display and more than 140 films projected on the big screen. This year I received a “plonger d’argent” or a silver diver for placing second at the photo-trio category. All the pictures were taken in freshwater dives in Brazil and will be part of my upcoming book about the Pantanal.
